Chester A. Graine III has been an Accountant for over 30 years. Mr. Graine spent 23 years at The Times Mirror Company now The Tribune Company, (owner of the Los Angeles Times as well as a number of other media & related companies). Mr. Graine was Director of Tax Compliance. His responsibilities included the filing of all the company’s foreign and domestic tax returns. He also sat on the Case Committee of the Pfaffinger Foundation which is a tax-exempt organization established for the benefit of Times Mirror employees. Mr. Graine was a past board member of the National Technology Group for Tax Executive Institute (TEI). The national headquarters are located in Washington, DC. Mr. Graine was also the past Chairperson of the local Los Angeles Chapter of TEI’s Technology Group and is currently a member of the Los Angeles chapter of TEI. Mr. Graine previously worked as Manager of General Accounting for Arrowhead Puritas Waters, Inc., and Supervisor of Data Entry for Pacific Bell Telephone. Mr. Graine is currently the State and Local Tax Manager for PMC Inc. and Subsidiaries. PMC produces a range of products including plastics, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, water treatments, food and beverages...etc. The company has offices in London, Canada, China, France, Spain, Belgium and throughout the United States.
EDUCATION
Mr. Graine holds a BS degree in Accounting, completion of various graduate courses in Taxation as well as the completion of USC’s Leadership Institute
