SHELLI BOONE - Shelli Boone is on a tremendous Hollywood journey.  Since her first on-screen job co-hosting BET’s Mad Sports four years ago, she has appeared in over 15 films, national and regional commercials, radio spots and several television shows.  One of her most notable roles was as series regular Evan Reed in Saints and Sinners, a 2007 primetime drama on FOX’s My Network TV.  She also showed her range, playing twins, in the 2007 Lionsgate DVD release of Holla, a comedy/horror film that garnered her a Best Actress nomination in the Chicago Film Festival. Shelli has also co-starred on popular episodics such as Entourage, Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless.  And she shared the screen with David Alan Grier and Kevin Hart in the upcoming comedy The Business, due out in 2008.

Shelli was nominated for an NAACP Best Actress Award for her portrayal of Dorothy Dandridge in "Dorothy and Otto" and she also embodied the vivacious Josephine Baker in "When Divas Were Divas" currently touring colleges in Southern California.

Raised in a military household – her mother was a Naval officer for over twenty years – Shelli has lived all over the world.  She uses her life experiences in different cultures as a tool for character development and career growth.  “My faith, family and friends are my greatest sources of encouragement,” says Boone.  She also draws inspiration from her volunteer work with St. Vincent's Meals on Wheels in downtown Los Angeles and other charities.  She is devoted to continuing to grow as an artist and a humanitarian.

There is no limit to what this young lady can accomplish.  Committed to her craft, Shelli is constantly training in all areas – acting, auditioning, writing, singing, dancing, stage combat, firearms – and she only wants the list to grow.  “If I had all the time and money in the world, I would try to learn everything,” she says.  “Kickboxing, languages, fencing, cooking, you name it.  I want to do it all! And bring it to the screen.”  And no doubt she will.
