The Brewery (1900 No. Main) is the world's largest live/work art colony, accommodating well over 1200 artists and art related businesses. Housed in a complex of 22 building on 23 acres. Part of the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. The Brewery's artist share a rich history with their neighbors Olivera Street, Chinatown and Little Tokyo.
The Artist at the Brewery express a full range of diversity in careers, media and cultures. There are more than 100 artisits - painters, sculptors, photographers, designers, art galleries. An outdoor cafe and a new theatre (PLAYHOUSE THEATRE PLAYERS) also are included in the Brewery's unique surroundings.
